Subprocessors

Last updated: August 6, 2026

A subprocessor is a third party we engage to process personal data on your behalf while we run SocialHalo (operated by Frontier Digital Marketing). This page lists them, what each one does, and where it processes data. It is the current version of the list referenced in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement. Questions: elliot@frontierdigitalmarketing.com.

Infrastructure and application

  • Vercel (United States) — application hosting and content delivery. Handles all data transiting the app, including account and workspace data in transit.
  • Railway (United States) — background job processing (the worker that runs ingestion, AI analyses, report generation, and email). Handles the data those jobs process.
  • Supabase (United States) — primary database and file storage. Holds account data, encrypted social tokens, retrieved platform analytics, and generated reports.

Features

  • Anthropic (United States) — AI analysis. Receives the workspace content each analysis needs, which includes post captions and metrics, comment text, unpublished drafts, the opening of video transcripts, the posts of competitors you track, the ideas and other free text members write in the product, and the questions members type into Halo Mind together with the recent turns of that conversation. It also receives product-feedback messages when we cluster them. The categories are set out in full in our Privacy Policy. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models.
  • xAI (United States) — AI analysis. May receive the same categories as Anthropic, listed above, for any analysis we route to it, including the questions members type into Halo Mind and the recent turns of that conversation. A Halo Mind request that goes to xAI also carries a one-way hash of the conversation id as a cache-routing hint; that hash is a routing key only and contains no message content and no account, workspace, or member details. xAI does not use this data to train its models.
  • Stripe (United States) — payments and billing. Handles your card details directly; we hold only your Stripe customer reference and subscription status.
  • Resend (United States) — transactional email (verification, password resets, invitations, billing and product notices). Receives recipient email and message content.
  • PostHog (United States) — product analytics, configured in cookieless mode. Receives which features and pages are used and how far you get in setup.
  • Sentry (United States) — error monitoring and diagnostics. Receives diagnostic error reports: the error and stack trace, the page it occurred on, and your browser, device, and approximate location derived from your IP address.

Connected platforms

When you connect a social account, SocialHalo retrieves your data from the platform's API so you can analyze it. These platforms are the source of your data rather than providers we send your data to, and each is governed by its own terms and privacy policy:

  • Google (YouTube)
  • TikTok
  • Meta (Instagram)

Changes to this list

We'll update this page before a new subprocessor begins processing your data. You can ask to be notified of changes and object to a new subprocessor as set out in our Data Processing Agreement, which applies to you if we process personal data on your behalf.
