Terms of Service
Last updated: August 6, 2026
These terms govern your use of SocialHalo, a social-media analytics and AI content-intelligence service operated by Frontier Digital Marketing ("SocialHalo", "we", "us") at socialhalo.io. By creating an account you agree to them.
Who you are contracting with. SocialHalo is operated by Frontier Digital Marketing LLC, a California limited liability company. Our business address, which is also the address of our registered agent for service of legal documents, is 1613 Chelsea Rd, Suite 151, San Marino, CA 91108, United States. You can write to us there or email elliot@frontierdigitalmarketing.com, which is the fastest way to reach us.
1. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity in your workspaces. You must be at least 16 years old and authorized to connect any social accounts you connect.
2. Plans, billing, and Halos
- Paid plans (Creator, Creator Pro, Agency) bill monthly through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Each plan includes a monthly allowance of Halos — the credits AI actions consume. Unused allowance does not roll over. Optional one-time Halo packs extend a month's allowance and expire 90 days after purchase. Halo packs are non-refundable once consumed.
- If a renewal payment fails we'll retry and notify you; continued failure downgrades the workspace to the Free plan. Your data is retained.
- Refunds. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where a refund is required by law. When you cancel, your plan stays active through the end of the current billing period and simply does not renew; we do not provide partial or prorated refunds for the unused portion of a period. Halo packs are non-refundable once consumed.
- EU/UK consumers. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase of digital services. By starting to use a paid plan immediately, you ask us to begin providing the service within that period and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.
3. Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to access other tenants' data or probe the service's security.
- Don't resell or white-label the service without a written agreement.
- Don't use the service to violate any platform's terms (YouTube, TikTok, Meta) or any law.
- Don't use automated means to scrape the service or abuse AI features beyond fair usage.
4. Your data and content
You retain all rights to your content and analytics data. You grant us the limited license needed to store, process, and display it to you and your team, including sending workspace content to our AI processors, Anthropic and xAI, to generate the analyses you request. That content is not limited to what you have published: it includes drafts you have scheduled but not posted, comments other people left on your posts, the opening of your video transcripts, the competitors you track, the ideas and other free text you write in the product, and what you type into Halo Mind. The Privacy Policy sets out the categories in full, and the processors we use are listed at socialhalo.io/legal/subprocessors. Reports you export are yours.
Where you use SocialHalo to process personal data about people other than yourself, our Data Processing Agreement applies to that processing and forms part of these terms. You can find it at socialhalo.io/legal/dpa. On anything to do with the processing of personal data, the Data Processing Agreement takes precedence over these terms.
5. AI output
AI analyses are generated from your data and cite their evidence, but they are recommendations, not guarantees. You are responsible for decisions made from them.
6. Third-party platforms
Connections to YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram depend on those platforms' APIs and policies. Features may degrade or become unavailable if a platform changes or revokes API access; that does not constitute a breach of these terms. Use of YouTube features is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.
7. Availability and support
We aim for high availability but the service is provided "as is" without a formal SLA on self-serve plans. Support is provided by email at elliot@frontierdigitalmarketing.com.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable. On termination we delete workspace data per the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law and where disputes are heard
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of SocialHalo, are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in California have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute, and you and we submit to the jurisdiction of those courts.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the paragraph above does not take anything away from you. You keep the protection of the mandatory consumer-law rules of the country you live in, and you keep the right to bring proceedings against us in the courts of that country. Those rights apply whatever the paragraph above says.
